- MODERN WASTE RECYCLING FACILITY FROM A REBURBISHED
10,000 UNIT |
An old 10,000 sqft Unit was
refurbished at Crown Works, Beighton, and transformed
into a waste recycling facility. Alterations to steelwork
were made and the whole building stripped and reclad.
We also installed pre-cast 3-5m high concrete wall units
(That are critical to the loading of recyclable waste)
to be imported from Germany.
Other works included the installation of a fuel tank,
pump and weighbridge; a new electrical installation and
a wash-down area linked via a grit/petrol interceptor
and a 6,000 litre underground storage tank. We continue
working in partnership with Onyx in the design and build
field, with the design and construction of a new office/visitor
centre to help Onyx educate local schools on the importance
of recycling. |
